Project Blikkies
One of the foster care family’s we are supporting currently has a shortage of living space in their home. We are assisting the family to add on an additional room to accommodate the expanded family due to them having to care for three foster children along with their own kids. Building materials as well as furniture are required for this project.
Daily Necessities
Most of the foster children we support are preschool and require expensive essentials such as diapers, wet wipes and baby formula. Clothing is also always required as the children grow out of their clothes at a rapid pace.
Newborn Care Packs
One of our projects is to support teenage mothers by providing them with newborn essentials when they leave hospital. Care packs typically consist of a blanket, baby grow, packet of new born diapers, soap, baby powder, wet wipes and a teddy.
Christmas Lights Event
We host an annual Christmas Lights event where foster children and their host families are treated in the spirit of Christmas.
After the Christmas Lights have been switched on, Santa Claus gives each child a gift package.
Afterwards the children are treated to ice cream to close off the hot summer evening Christmas event.
